Raffaella Carrà hologram concert announced for Rome

A new tribute show titled ‘Raffaella Carrà – The Show Must Go On’ is scheduled to debut on December 28 at the Atlantico in Rome. The production utilizes hologram technology, live dancers, and 3D laser effects to recreate the presence of the late Italian entertainer, who passed away in 2021.

The project, which involves the entertainment technology company Laserman, aims to blend digital innovation with musical nostalgia. However, the announcement has met with criticism from Angelo Perrone, a close friend and former press officer of the artist. Perrone expressed dismay at the concept, describing the hologram as a ‘fake, fictitious representation’ and suggesting the initiative is driven by box office interests rather than a genuine tribute.
