Ornella Muti forced to stop Ballando con le Stelle due shoulder injury FAST-MOVING
Actress Ornella Muti was forced to halt her performance during the sixth episode of Ballando con le Stelle after only 38 seconds due to severe shoulder pain. Host Milly Carlucci reported that the injury was aggravated by a fall during Friday rehearsals involving both Muti and her dance partner, Pasquale La Rocca.
Muti expressed a desire to continue the competition but noted she requires time to recover, stating, “If I can, I will return.”
The episode also featured tension between judge Barbara D’Urso and Muti. D’Urso criticized Muti’s public persona, suggesting she move past a “narrative of a fragile woman,” which prompted a defense from La Rocca.
In the competition standings, Noemi Bocchi and Giovanni Pernice won the episode with 20 points. Jimmy Ghione was saved via a wild card following a runoff against Andy Diaz.
