Rai eyes new presenter for long‑running 'Chi l'ha visto?' program

Italy’s public broadcaster Rai is evaluating three internal candidates to succeed Federica Sciarelli as host of the long‑standing Rai 3 show “Chi l’ha visto?”. The shortlist includes journalist Veronica Briganti, who works on the programme, news anchor Laura Chimenti of TG1, and Manuela Moreno, presenter of the summer edition of “La vita in diretta” on Rai 1.

Rai’s board is expected to decide by the end of July, with a final meeting scheduled for 30 July before the summer break. The selection aims to preserve the show’s continuity and public trust, as “Chi l’ha visto?” has been a staple of Italian television since 1989 and was led by Sciarelli for more than two decades.
