Rai refreshes daytime TV lineup, revives 'Il Paradiso delle Signore' soap

Italy’s public broadcaster Rai announced a major update to its daytime schedule. The long‑running soap "Il Paradiso delle Signore" will return to its traditional afternoon slot, with a new season slated to begin on 7 September 2026. The revival features a mix of returning characters such as Roberto Landi and the Contessa Adelaide, alongside fresh faces and storylines set in late‑1960s Italy.

Alongside the soap’s comeback, Rai’s summer daytime programme includes several new and confirmed shows. Cyclist‑presenter Vittorio Brumotti will host "Italia A" from 29 June, Manuela Moreno will lead "La Vita in diretta", and a refreshed version of "Camper" will debut on 1 June with a regional‑cuisine segment. Long‑running programmes such as "Uno Mattina", "Linea Verde", and "Reazione a catena" will continue, while specials like "Reazione a catena"’s 20th‑anniversary edition are also scheduled.

The changes aim to keep audiences engaged with fresh content while maintaining popular fixtures throughout the summer months.
