Federica Sciarelli to leave ‘Chi l’ha visto?’ after 22 years, Rai seeks her successor

Rai announced that the contract of journalist Federica Sciarelli, who has presented the investigative programme “Chi l’ha visto?” on Rai 3 since 2004, will expire at the end of July 2026. The broadcaster’s statement said that Rai and Sciarelli are discussing her professional future and possible projects, while also evaluating the future of the show and who could “collect its legacy”. The final episode of the current season is scheduled for early July, and the network has opened a succession debate. The most frequently mentioned candidates are journalist Francesca Fagnani, who is currently host of “Belve”, followed by Eleonora Daniele and Massimo Giletti. Internal options include long‑time reporters Veronica Briganti and Chiara Cazzaniga, as well as other Rai personalities such as Manuela Moreno, Francesca Fialdini, Paola Perego and Pino Rinaldi. Sciarelli’s possible departure is attributed to accumulated fatigue after more than two decades of a demanding programme that mixes missing‑person appeals, crime investigations and public service reporting.
