Rai revamps summer lineup, suspends 'Il paradiso delle signore' and gears up for 2026 World Cup

Italy’s public broadcaster Rai announced a reshuffle of its Rai 1 summer schedule. The long‑running soap opera “Il paradiso delle signore” will pause for the seasonal break, while the afternoon program “Affari Tuoi” will end on 27 June. “La Volta Buona” will continue until the end of June, and “Estate in Diretta” returns with Emma D’Aquino and Flavio Montrucchio hosting. The morning show “Unomattina Estate” comes back under the stewardship of Alessandro Greco.

The centerpiece of the summer lineup will be extensive coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, staged in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Rai will allocate prime‑time slots in both the first and second evening slots to live matches and related analysis, reshaping the usual programming to accommodate the tournament.
