Railway Recruitment Board announces upcoming job openings in India

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is preparing several recruitment drives for various positions across India.

A notification for 119 Section Controller vacancies is expected, with an anticipated notification release date of June 23, 2026. Eligible candidates must hold a graduate degree, and the application window is projected to run from July 15 to August 14, 2026. The selection process is expected to involve a Computer Based Test (CBT), aptitude tests, document verification, and medical examinations.

Additionally, a large-scale recruitment drive for approximately 30,000 Group D posts, including roles such as Track Maintainers and Pointsmen, is anticipated before Diwali. Zonal railways and production units are currently submitting vacancy data to finalize the numbers. The application process for these roles is expected to take place between November and December, with the first phase of Computer Based Tests likely occurring in the first quarter of the following year.
