Rajasthan government conducts major administrative reshuffle

The Rajasthan government has implemented a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 26 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and 53 Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers across the state.

The Personnel Department issued orders on August 17, which included the posting of 13 IAS officers currently in training and one officer previously awaiting assignment. These changes affect various key departments, development authorities, urban local bodies, and district-level administrative positions.

Notable appointments include Nitya K. (2018 batch) as Joint Secretary in the Energy Department in Jaipur, and Dr. Shilpa Singh (2018 batch) as Joint Secretary in the Planning Department. Utsah Chaudhary (2018 batch) has been moved from Commissioner of the Jodhpur Development Authority to Joint Secretary in the Disaster Management and Relief Department. Other significant moves include Giridhar (2019 batch) as CEO of the Bhiwadi Integrated Development Authority and Dhaigude Snehal Nana (2019 batch) as Commissioner of the Bikaner Development Authority.
