Rajeev Chandrasekhar demands apology from Rahul Gandhi
Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar has renewed demands for Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi to apologize to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Election Commission. Chandrasekhar's demand follows remarks where Gandhi allegedly called the Prime Minister a ‘deshdrohi’ and made statements regarding the Election Commission.
In response to Kerala Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan’s criticism of these personal attacks, Chandrasekhar questioned the Congress party’s credentials regarding democracy and secularism. He cited historical communal riots and the party's political alliances in Kerala to challenge their political stance. Chandrasekhar stated that if the Congress continues to use what he described as lies and corruption as a strategy, they should be prepared to be called ‘frauds’.
