Rajinikanth returns for ‘Jailer 2’ with new single ‘One Sun, One Moon’

Sun Pictures has released ‘One Sun, One Moon’, the second single from the upcoming Tamil film ‘Jailer 2’. The track, composed and performed by Anirudh Ravichander alongside MS Krsna, serves as a tribute to the screen presence of lead actor Rajinikanth, who reprises his role as Muthuvel Pandian.

The song’s title is noted as a reference to Rajinikanth’s 1995 film ‘Baasha’. The film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and features an expanded cast including Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, with expected cameos from actors such as Vijay Sethupathi.

‘Jailer 2’ is a sequel to the 2023 blockbuster ‘Jailer’. The film is scheduled for release on October 15, 2026.
