Rajsamand leopard sighting triggers panic as dog chases predator

A leopard caused panic in the Mahavir Nagar residential area of Rajsamand district, Rajasthan, after it was spotted resting in the veranda of an empty house. The incident was captured on CCTV, showing the leopard jumping from a roof to flee after a local resident raised an alarm.

During the escape, a neighbor's German Shepherd chased the leopard through the streets. The leopard eventually fled toward the bushes near Taleri Nala. Following the sighting, the forest department launched a search operation in the surrounding areas, including Sushil Nagar and Kishore Nagar, and has urged residents to remain vigilant and avoid approaching wildlife.
