Citi and Bank of America announce new credit card rewards and offers

Several major financial institutions have updated their credit card offerings and reward structures.

Citi and American Airlines have launched a refreshed Citi AAdvantage Executive World Legend Mastercard. This version features a record welcome bonus of 125,000 miles following a $15,000 spend requirement within the first five months. The card includes a $695 annual fee and introduces new benefits such as up to $500 in annual statement credits for American Airlines Vacations, increased Lyft credits, and expanded Loyalty Point bonuses.

Additionally, Rakuten is offering bonus rewards of up to $275 or 27,500 Bilt points for approved applicants of select Bank of America credit cards, including the Travel Rewards, Customized Cash Rewards, and Unlimited Cash Rewards cards.

Separately, the Citi PremierMiles card continues to serve as a general-purpose option, offering 1.2 miles per dollar on local spend and 2.2 miles per dollar on foreign spend, alongside complimentary airport lounge access via Priority Pass.
