Raúl Rocha Cantú spotted in Monaco amid Mexican arrest warrants

Raúl Rocha Cantú, a Mexican businessman and majority shareholder of Miss Universe, was recently filmed walking through Monte Carlo, Monaco, while facing multiple legal challenges in Mexico.

The Mexican Attorney General’s Office (FGR) has requested a new arrest warrant for Rocha Cantú regarding alleged money laundering and operations involving illicit resources. This new investigation, stemming from a report by the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF), involves suspected fraudulent real estate acquisitions and banking operations through related companies.

This follows previous legal actions against him for organized crime, arms trafficking, and the illegal smuggling of hydrocarbons from Guatemala into Mexico. While Rocha Cantú had previously served as a cooperating witness in one investigation, a court recently revoked certain legal protections, leading to the current pursuit by federal authorities.
