RallyOne Project targets 2027 WRC debut in Monte Carlo
RallyOne Project is preparing for a potential debut in the 2027 World Rally Championship (WRC) under the new WRC27 technical regulations. The team is currently building its first chassis, with testing expected to begin in early September.
Project leader Lionel Hansen stated that the primary goal is to achieve homologation by January 1, with the intention of entering one or two cars in the Monte Carlo Rally. To ensure reliability, the team has planned approximately 2,000 kilometers of asphalt testing in France before the end of October.
A final decision regarding participation in the Monte Carlo season opener will be made on November 1, following the conclusion of the intensive testing phase. While the project faces significant challenges due to its smaller scale compared to traditional manufacturers, the team has established production processes to facilitate the construction of multiple chassis.
