Ram Charan and Sukumar launch pan-India film RC17

Actor Ram Charan and director Sukumar have officially commenced production on their new pan-India film, tentatively titled ‘RC17’. The project was launched with a grand pooja and muhurat ceremony in Hyderabad.

Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the event as the guest of honour, performing the ceremonial coconut-breaking ritual and sounding the first clapboard to mark the beginning of the film. The launch marks the second collaboration between Charan and Sukumar following their 2018 blockbuster ‘Rangasthalam’.

The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, in association with T-Series. Technical details include Ratnavelu as cinematographer and Anirudh Ravichander providing the musical score. While the specific plot and supporting cast remain undisclosed, the project has generated significant anticipation within the Indian film industry.
