Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya nears completion
Nripendra Misra, Chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee, announced that 148 of approximately 150 construction projects within the Ram Mandir temple complex in Ayodhya have been completed and handed over to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The remaining work, which includes the Parkota (the temple’s perimeter structure) and facade lighting, is scheduled for completion by November 15. Misra noted that progress on the Parkota's rooftop water treatment plant has been slowed by recent rainfall in Ayodhya, as the work requires dry weather and sunlight.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is responsible for executing the construction and must provide all relevant records, designs, and financial documentation to the Trust for inspection. Other ancillary projects, such as the Martyrs' Memorial, have been completed, while work continues on the Madhavacharya Gate and various landscaping efforts.
