Ram opens orders for 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee muscle truck

Ram has opened orders for the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, a new high-performance muscle truck designed for the United States market. The initial model features a 5.7L Hemi V8 engine producing 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This version does not include the eTorque mild-hybrid system, relying entirely on V8 power.

The Rumble Bee features a unique widebody configuration with a Quad Cab and a short bed. The wheelbase has been shortened by 13 inches compared to the standard Ram 1500 Quad Cab, while the track width has been increased by nearly seven inches on both axles. To enhance driving dynamics, the truck is equipped with Bilstein monotube sport shock absorbers and permanent all-wheel drive, though rear-wheel drive remains an option.

Starting prices are reported between $59,995 and $62,790. The model is expected to arrive at American dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2026. While the 5.7L V8 is currently available for order in select colors, more powerful variants, including a 6.4L V8 and an SRT model, are expected to follow later in 2027. Additionally, Ram plans to offer a 600 hp supercharger through its Direct Connection accessories.
