Ram 1500 Rumble Bee vehicle developments

Overview

The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee high-performance truck line has seen developments regarding both factory production and aftermarket modifications.

Ram has officially opened orders for the 2027 Rumble Bee lineup, targeting sports car enthusiasts with a muscle car aesthetic. The base model features a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 producing 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This version lacks the eTorque mild-hybrid system and utilizes a widebody configuration with a Quad Cab and a short bed, featuring a wheelbase shortened by 13 inches and a track width increased by nearly seven inches. Pricing for the base model is reported between $59,995 and $62,790, with arrivals expected at U.S. dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2026.

More powerful variants are scheduled for the first half of 2027, including a 392 version with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 (477 hp) and an SRT variant equipped with a 6.2-liter Hellcat supercharged V8 delivering 788 hp and 922 Nm of torque. Ram also plans to offer a 600 hp supercharger through its Direct Connection accessories.

In a separate promotional effort, Ram has partnered with the UFC for a charity auction at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas event on September 11. The auction will feature a one-of-one 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT with a supercharged Hellcat V8 expected to exceed 900 horsepower. All proceeds will benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation and Hispanic charities through the UFC Foundation.

In parallel, Hennessey Performance Engineering has unveiled the Maximus, a highly modified version of the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT producing between 1,032 and 1,046 horsepower.
