Jitendra Mishra appointed first CEO of Ram Mandir Trust

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has announced a major administrative restructuring, headlined by the appointment of retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra as its first Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mishra, a decorated veteran with extensive experience in the Indian Air Force, was selected from a pool of over 5,500 applicants following a rigorous evaluation process. His responsibilities will include overseeing temple administration, security coordination, pilgrim facilities, and financial management.

In addition to the CEO appointment, the Trust has appointed Swami Govind Dev Giri as General Secretary and named Mahesh Bhagchandka, Madan Mohan Pandey, and Dr. Nirmala Yadav as new trustees. The meeting also addressed the progress of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into alleged financial irregularities and approved the audited accounts for the 2025-26 financial year.

To enhance transparency and efficiency, the Trust is planning to introduce technological solutions, such as machines, to assist in counting cash donations from devotees. The administrative changes follow recent leadership vacancies and allegations regarding the handling of temple offerings.
