Ramlila celebrations commence across Delhi

Various Ramlila celebrations have commenced in Delhi, featuring theatrical performances and religious ceremonies based on the Ramayana.

In Paschim Vihar, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta inaugurated the Ramlila organized by the Shri Ramlila Committee. Gupta described the event as a living expression of truth, righteousness, and moral conduct that has sustained Indian civilization. The program included a large-screen presentation of the Ramayana to depict the life of Lord Shri Ram.

In Rohini, the Sanatan Sanskaaram Society began its ‘Adwitiya Ramlila 2026’ at the Sector 23 Ramlila Ground. The event, which runs from October 9 to 20, included an opening aarti and devotional music. Attendees included Delhi Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh and motivational speaker Vivek Bindra. The festivities will feature episodes such as Sita Swayamvar and Lanka Dahan, concluding with the coronation of Lord Shri Ram.
