Ranabaali film builds hype ahead of October release

The upcoming period action drama Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, is generating significant buzz ahead of its October 16 worldwide release. Director Rahul Sankrityan’s film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is set to debut during the Dussehra festive season.

Political figure Nara Lokesh has publicly praised the film following its trailer release, specifically noting its portrayal of 19th-century Rayalaseema, famine, and British colonial oppression. Lokesh commended Deverakonda’s performance and the film’s historical scope. This endorsement follows a similar instance where former Telangana minister KTR supported the film The Paradise, which ultimately saw mixed commercial results.

Adding to the promotional momentum, the lyrical video for the song ‘Kobali’ has been released. The track features Deverakonda in an intense, rage-filled role and includes striking visual sequences, such as a Ratha Yatra scene. The music is composed by Ajay–Atul with vocals by V. M. Mahalingam.
