Ranabaali teaser released starring Vijay Deverakonda

The teaser for ‘Ranabaali’, a highly anticipated period war action drama, has been released. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna.

Set in the 19th century during the Madras Famine of 1876–1878, the story follows a Telugu man from Rayalaseema, played by Deverakonda, who rises against British colonial oppression. The narrative explores a period of severe drought and food shortages that resulted in massive loss of life. Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo portrays the antagonist, Sir Theodore Hector, a ruthless British officer.

The film aims to depict the authentic culture, landscape, and dialect of the Rayalaseema region. It is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16, coinciding with the Dussehra festive period.
