Rancagua launches Mes de la Patria celebrations

The city of Rancagua has officially launched its “Mes de la Patria” celebrations with a ceremony titled “Bienvenido Septiembre” held at Plaza de los Héroes. The event, led by Mayor Raimundo Agliati Marchant and attended by presidential delegate Susana Pinto, featured the raising of the national flag, the national anthem, and performances by local folklore academies.

The municipality has announced a comprehensive program consisting of more than 40 cultural and family-oriented activities across various sectors of the commune. This programming includes cueca workshops, folklore encounters, exhibitions, concerts, theater, and street parades.

Key upcoming events include a presentation of “La Pérgola de las Flores” on September 13 at Plaza de los Héroes, and the traditional Fondas y Ramadas, scheduled to take place from September 17 to 20 at the Medialuna Monumental de Rancagua.
