Randy Roecker supports farmers facing mental health crises

Former dairy farmer and counselor Randy Roecker is working to support agricultural workers facing severe mental health challenges. Roecker notes that the current agricultural economy, characterized by high fuel costs and low milk prices, is comparable to or worse than the farm crisis of the 1980s.

After experiencing extreme depression and the difficult decision to sell his family's farm, Roecker has transitioned into a role helping others cope with similar struggles. He has been involved in efforts such as the Farmer Angel Network to provide support to those dealing with the stress and loss of legacy associated with farming.
