Randy Travis announces new album and continues ‘More Life Tour’

Country music legend Randy Travis is preparing to release a new album, ‘Same Old Way’, on November 13. This marks his first release of completely new material in over 18 years. The project features 12 original songs that were previously held in a vault; producer Kyle Lehning assembled, remixed, and remastered the recordings with input from Travis.

In addition to the upcoming album, Travis is currently on his ‘More Life Tour’, a 54-city run that concludes in November. Due to complications from a 2013 stroke that resulted in aphasia, Travis does not sing during the performances. Instead, he appears on stage with his wife, Mary, while singer James Dupré performs his hits alongside Travis’ longtime touring band. The tour serves as a celebration of his life and musical career, utilizing videos and photographs to engage with fans.
