Rangers FC faces criticism over collapsed transfer and pursues new defensive target
Rangers FC is facing criticism from Dutch media following the collapse of a £7 million transfer deal for PSV Eindhoven winger Couhaib Driouech. Journalist Rik Elfrink described the club's conduct as “inhumane,” alleging that Rangers abandoned the deal due to a disagreement over the length of a potential injury, despite the player already being present at the stadium.
In a separate development, Rangers is reportedly showing strong interest in Burkina Faso international defender Adamo Nagalo. The club may soon make a formal approach to PSV Eindhoven for the player, who is considered surplus to requirements in the Netherlands. Rangers faces competition from Turkish clubs for his signature.
