Romanian clubs Dinamo, Rapid and Steaua navigate transfers and leadership changes

Dinamo Bucharest’s coach Nuno Campos and former captain Giani Kiriță say the squad still needs experienced players before the new season. The club is close to signing 21‑year‑old Luxembourg midfielder Tomas Cruz from Benfica for about €450,000, but the player has not yet accepted the offer. Recent departures include Kennedy Boateng, Georgi Milanov, Valentin Țicu and others, while new signings such as Martin Pascual, Ștefan Opriș and goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch have arrived on loan.

Former Dinamo defender Kennedy Boateng has signed a two‑year contract with Saudi Arabian side Al Fateh, joining the team in Spain for pre‑season. The move follows failed contract talks with Dinamo, where Boateng was offered a €30,000‑per‑month salary.

At CSA Steaua, the candidacy of Colonel Florin Talpan for club commander was rejected for not meeting mandatory criteria, and he has taken legal action. The club is undergoing a reorganisation that will cut staff positions by roughly 10 % and aims to complete the process by 1 November 2026. The 2026 budget totals 140.72 million lei, with personnel costs of 55.44 million lei.
