ByteDance has reorganised its AI and enterprise‑service divisions, merging the Feishu product team with the Doubao team to create a new Doubao product unit. The former Feishu sales, marketing and customer‑service teams were combined with Volcano Engine to form a To‑B GTM organisation called the "Creativity Services Platform" that will handle enterprise AI services. Doubao leader Zhao Qi now oversees the combined team, with former Feishu head Xie Xin reporting to him.
Alibaba likewise integrated three AI office product lines—QoderWork, Wukong and MuleRun—into a single offering built on QoderWork, under the direction of DingTalk CEO Chen Yusen. Tencent moved its QClaw product centre and related staff into the Cloud Product Six Department, which also houses the WorkBuddy AI assistant; QClaw will continue operating after the move.
These coordinated actions by the three BAT giants terminate internal “AI race” competitions, cut product duplication and aim to embed AI more tightly into enterprise workflows, boosting customer stickiness beyond traditional cloud services.
