South Korean rapper Yang Hong-won is facing allegations of infidelity just five days after his wedding to model Won Hyun-ju. An individual, identified as “A,” claimed via social media that Yang visited a motel with another woman, providing purported call logs and messages as evidence.

Yang’s agency, AP Alchemy, has denied the claims, stating that while Yang and the woman in question did visit a motel, no intimate or romantic contact occurred. The agency maintains that the evidence provided by the accuser was “maliciously edited” and that the incident was a result of the accuser forcing the pair to leave a social gathering and move to a specific motel.

The woman involved in the motel visit also released a statement claiming she was a victim of the accuser’s attempt at extortion. She stated that she and Yang slept separately—with Yang on the bed and herself on the floor—and that the accuser had demanded money before releasing the information.

Yang, the woman, and his agency have filed criminal complaints against the accuser for extortion, defamation, and violations of anti-stalking laws. Following the controversy, observers noted that Yang and Won have unfollowed each other on social media, though neither has officially commented on their marital status.
