Rapper Yang Hong-won faces infidelity and drug allegations

South Korean rapper Yang Hong-won is embroiled in a series of controversies following his recent marriage to model Won Hyun-ju. An individual identified as B recently accused Yang of visiting a motel with another woman just days after their wedding, providing recordings and footage to support the claim.

Yang’s agency, AP Alchemy, has denied the allegations of infidelity, stating that while Yang did go to a motel with a woman, it was due to his intoxicated state and the need for a place to sleep. The agency claims the footage was maliciously edited and that no romantic involvement occurred. They have filed criminal complaints against the whistleblower for extortion, stalking, and defamation.

Further complications arose when a long-time fan claimed to have witnessed personal details involving Yang, including a hashtag referencing drug use, though no concrete evidence has been provided. Amidst the controversy, Yang was observed during a performance in Seoul singing lyrics that referenced his wife, leading to increased public scrutiny of his personal life.
