Raquel Lyra visits public works and housing projects in Pernambuco

Pernambuco Governor Raquel Lyra has intensified her campaign activities through visits to various public works and social programs in the Recife Metropolitan Region. During her visits, Lyra highlighted several infrastructure projects, including the transformation of the former Tacaruna Factory into the Education Professionals Training Center (Ceforpe), an R$ 87 million investment. Other projects include the conversion of the former Vice-Governorship headquarters into the Frei Caneca Nursery and the establishment of the 16th Military Police Battalion in the São José neighborhood.

Lyra also visited families benefiting from the Morar Bem Pernambuco housing program. Accompanied by Vice-Governor Priscila Krause and Senate candidate Túlio Gadêlha, the Governor inspected renovated homes in the Favela do Plástico in Recife. The program aims to provide residential reforms and land regularization for low-income families, with an expected 1,800 units targeted for Recife. Additionally, the administration is moving forward with dredging and drainage works at Rio Morno, Rio Beberibe, and the Fragoso Canal in Olinda.
