Ras Al Khaimah and UBTECH Robotics sign strategic partnership

The government of Ras Al Khaimah and UBTECH Robotics have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance the research, development, and deployment of humanoid robot systems. The agreement establishes a framework for testing and demonstrating advanced technology across various sectors, including industrial automation, commercial services, elderly care, and cultural tourism.

A key component of the partnership is the proposed ‘Ras Al Khaimah Humanoid Robot Climate Research Program.’ This initiative aims to utilize the unique environmental conditions of the emirate to test and validate the performance of humanoid robots for applications within the United Arab Emirates and the broader Gulf region.

UBTECH Robotics will deploy its products and professional engineering teams directly in Ras Al Khaimah to conduct field demonstrations and collect performance data. In return, the emirate will provide a real-world testing sandbox and a forward-looking regulatory framework to support scientific research and industrial integration.
