Ras El Hekma: Egyptian PM inspects UAE-partnered development
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly conducted an inspection tour of the Ras El Hekma development projects on the North Coast. The tour included high-level officials from Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, including executives from Modon Holding, to review the progress of hotel, commercial, and entertainment components.
Minister of Housing Randa El-Menshawy reported significant infrastructure milestones, noting that drinking water, sewage, and road asphalt works in areas A, B, and C have reached 100% completion. Electricity and lighting networks have also been finalized in these specific zones. Work is currently progressing in area D, which covers 1,400 acres.
The project is a central part of a strategic partnership between Egypt and the UAE, aimed at boosting tourism, driving economic development in the northwest coast, and creating jobs for Egyptian youth. Officials emphasized that the development serves as a model for sustainable and smart cities on the Mediterranean coast.
