Egypt-UAE Ras El Hekma and North Coast development

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inspected development projects in Ras El Hekma on the North Coast, a site involving a strategic partnership with the United Arab Emirates. During the inspection, which included officials from Modon Holding, Minister of Housing Randa El-Menshawy reported that infrastructure milestones for drinking water, sewage, road asphalt, electricity, and lighting have reached 100% completion in areas A, B, and C. Work continues in area D, spanning 1,400 acres. The project aims to foster tourism, economic development, and job creation through the establishment of sustainable and smart cities.

Expanding on these efforts, Prime Minister Madbouly held a meeting with the Minister of Housing, the Governor of Matrouh, and urban planning officials to review broader development and expansion plans for the North Coast region. Following directives from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the government is working to implement integrated development plans to maximize the region's potential across the tourism, industry, agriculture, and urban sectors. These efforts include reviewing land inventory, allocations, and approved urban boundaries to establish new productive and residential communities intended to attract investment and improve essential services.
