Raseiniai district police seize 112 kg of narcotics

Police in the Raseiniai district have detained a resident of the Kaunas district suspected of illegal possession of a large quantity of narcotics. During searches conducted on October 5, officers inspected the suspect's vehicle, residence, and other locations.

Authorities seized approximately 112 kilograms of illegal substances, consisting of 97 kilograms of cannabis, 10 kilograms of cocaine, and 5 kilograms of hashish. The suspect faces charges related to the illegal possession of narcotics or psychotropic substances with the intent to distribute, or the illegal possession of a very large quantity of such substances. The individual has been placed under arrest.
