Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda address social media trolling

Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have addressed online criticism regarding Mandanna’s public persona. During a conversation on Keerthika Govindhasamy’s YouTube channel, Mandanna defended her cheerful and kind demeanor against trolls who have labeled her behavior as ‘overacting’ or ‘cringe.’

Mandanna stated that she has no intention of altering her personality to satisfy critics, noting that ‘kindness is not weakness’ and that her authenticity brings positivity to her family and friends. Deverakonda supported his wife, suggesting that much of the negativity directed at celebrities is ‘manufactured’ through the use of multiple social media accounts to create false narratives.

The couple, who married in February, are currently promoting their upcoming period action drama, Ranabaali. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film marks their first onscreen reunion in seven years and is scheduled for theatrical release on October 16.
