Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda discuss relationship and new film

Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have addressed their decision to keep their relationship private for eight years prior to their marriage in February 2026. Speaking on a podcast, the couple explained that they did not view their relationship as a subject for public entertainment and preferred to protect their personal lives.

Mandanna and Deverakonda are set to reunite for the upcoming period action drama ‘Ranabaali’, which is their third professional collaboration following ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’. The film, set between 1854 and 1878, features Deverakonda as a man resisting British rule and Mandanna as his wife and partner, Jayamma. Mandanna noted that working with Deverakonda is ‘lots of FUN’ and praised his dedication on set.
