Rashmika Mandanna completes filming for ‘Ranabaali’

Actress Rashmika Mandanna has completed filming her role in the upcoming period action drama ‘Ranabaali’. Mandanna portrays the character Jayamma, who is the wife of the titular protagonist, Ranabaali, played by Vijay Deverakonda.

Director Rahul Sankrityan revealed that the character of Jayamma was named after his own mother. He described the character as a woman intended to inspire modern women despite the film being set in the 19th century. The production team shared footage of the wrap, featuring Mandanna in period attire.

The film, which is based on historical events, is scheduled for a global release on October 16.
