Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı released by prosecutor's ex officio decision

Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı has been released from detention following an ex officio decision by the prosecutor, rather than through an appeal to a higher court as previously reported. The decision was made by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime Investigation Bureau.

The prosecutor determined that the strong suspicion of crime had diminished. This conclusion followed an examination of documents and petitions submitted by Kütahyalı’s legal team, which demonstrated a correlation in dates and amounts between suspicious money transfers and POS withdrawals. Kütahyalı also provided identity and contact information for the individuals involved in the POS transactions to support his defense in the illegal betting and money laundering investigation.
