Ravenna stages beach volleyball championship and city basketball slam in July

The Marina Bay venue in Marina di Ravenna will host a stage of the Italian Beach Volley Championship from July 3 to July 5, featuring Under‑16, Under‑18, Under‑20 and an absolute tournament with the country’s top pairs. The event is organised by Orbite A.S.D. and praised by its president Roberta Fogli, who highlighted the pride of hosting the competition for a second consecutive year.

From July 7 to July 10, Piazza Kennedy will be transformed into an open‑air playground for the second edition of Ravenna Slam Nights, a 4‑on‑4 basketball tournament that combines sport, music and street food. Organized by local clubs and the municipality, the four‑day programme includes elimination rounds, a three‑point shooting contest, youth matches for Under‑15 and Under‑17 categories, a talk show with Panorama Basket and a €1,500 prize for the winners.
