Rawalakot protests in Pakistan‑occupied Kashmir attract 80,000, allege Pakistan Army supplied weapons

On the 24th day of anti‑government protests in Rawalakot, Pakistan‑occupied Kashmir, more than 80,000 demonstrators gathered at the Eidgah grounds. The movement, led by Sardar Aman Khan, chief of the Joint Awami Action Committee, accused the Pakistan Army of handing guns and ammunition to Kashmiri civilians and of supporting past Jaish‑e‑Mohammed rallies.

The protesters presented 38 demands, warning that failure to meet them could shift the agitation from reform to a full call for Pakistan’s withdrawal from the region.
