Ray Service to produce components for F-35 fighter jets
Czech industrial company Ray Service is preparing to produce cable assemblies for the United States-made F-35 stealth fighter jets. CEO Jakub Gabriel stated that the company is currently integrating technical processes and manufacturing early prototypes to meet quality standards, with mass production expected to begin by the end of next year.
Ray Service already provides electronic systems, control modules, and wiring for American Viper and Venom helicopters, as well as German Leopard 2 tanks.
In a related European development, the Finnish company Patria has completed the assembly of its first F135 engine for the F-35. Patria is scheduled to handle engine assembly until 2030, after which it will focus on the long-term maintenance, repair, and modernization of F135 engines to support the Finnish F-35A fleet through the 2060s.
