RayNeo to launch flagship AR glasses and AI smart glasses in Japan

RayVision AR Limited is launching several new augmented reality (AR) and AI-powered smart glasses in Japan on September 4, 2026.

The flagship RayNeo GT Max will be available for a promotional price of 62,980 yen. It features a 59-degree field of view, a 267-inch equivalent large screen, and four speakers by Bang & Olufsen. The device weighs approximately 78g and utilizes dual-layer Micro-OLED displays and the Peacock Optical Engine 3.0 Max. It is designed for high-quality video consumption, connecting to smartphones, PCs, or gaming consoles via USB-C.

Additionally, the company is releasing the RayNeo iO Smart Glasses, a lightweight 33g device designed for AI assistance. These glasses feature a monochrome green MicroLED display and use diffraction waveguide technology. They support AI models such as Gemini and ChatGPT for real-time translation and information display. The RayNeo iO includes a 'Smart Crown' for manual operation and supports transcription and AI summarization for up to 112 languages.
