RayNeo unveils iO smart glasses and GT cinematic AR series

RayNeo, a leading consumer augmented reality (AR) company, has announced a new hardware lineup featuring the RayNeo iO smart glasses and the cinema-grade RayNeo GT Series. Both product lines are scheduled for release on September 4, 2026.

The RayNeo iO is designed for all-day productivity and ambient intelligence. Weighing approximately 33 grams, the frames utilize magnesium-aluminum alloy and titanium. Notably, the iO model lacks a camera to prioritize user privacy, distinguishing it from competitors like Meta. It features a monochrome green waveguide display with 1,300 nits of brightness and a 23.5-degree field of view. The device integrates a quad-microphone array and bone conduction sensors for audio, and includes a physical 'Smart Crown' for navigation. It supports multiple AI models, including Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek.

The RayNeo GT Series focuses on high-fidelity multimedia and gaming. The lineup includes the GT and GT Max models, which offer a theater-grade experience with Micro-OLED displays. The GT Max specifically features a virtual screen of up to 307 inches and supports Dolby Vision.

According to Counterpoint Research, RayNeo currently holds a 23.7% market share in the global consumer AR smart glasses market by shipment volume.
