Rayo Vallecano fans protest against president and stadium closure

Rayo Vallecano supporters held large-scale protests in the Puente de Vallecas district to demand the resignation of club president Raúl Martín Presa and the return of home matches to the Estadio de Vallecas.

The demonstrations, organized by platforms such as ADRV and the Federation of Rayo Vallecano Supporters' Clubs, saw hundreds of fans marching through the streets. Protesters expressed frustration over the club being unable to play at their home stadium following a suspension of the venue's concession by the Community of Madrid. An audit determined the facilities did not meet necessary safety standards for spectators.

Supporters criticized the current management for the deterioration of the stadium and expressed strong opposition to the possibility of playing home games at the Butarque Stadium. Meanwhile, regional authorities have attributed the situation to the club's failure to meet maintenance obligations, stating that the stadium has not been kept in proper condition.
