Razer announces Kiyo V2 Pro 4K webcam with 60 FPS
Razer has announced the Kiyo V2 Pro, a professional-grade 4K webcam designed for streamers and content creators. The device distinguishes itself by offering native 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, avoiding the common industry compromise where high resolution is limited to 30 fps.
The webcam features a Sony STARVIS 2 back-illuminated sensor, which enhances light capture and minimizes image noise in low-light environments. It also includes Ultra-High Dynamic Range (UHDR) technology to balance highlights and shadows, and an 86-degree wide-angle lens designed to minimize edge distortion.
Key functional features include intelligent auto-framing with dynamic pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities to keep subjects centered. The hardware also includes a physical privacy shutter and a universal pivot mount for monitor or tripod installation. Additionally, Razer is partnering with Camo Studio to provide a Camo Pro subscription with the device.
