R&B veterans Carl Thomas and Case perform in VERZUZ battle

R&B artists Carl Thomas and Case participated in a VERZUZ musical competition held at Apple Music Studios in Los Angeles. The event featured performances of nostalgic hits from both artists, including Case’s “Not Your Friend” and Carl Thomas’s “Can’t Imagine.”

During the event, Case featured surprise guest RL to perform “The Best Man I Can Be.” Carl Thomas included a guest appearance by Too Short to perform “The World Is Filled…”. Thomas noted during the performance that he views such events as a win for Black music as a whole rather than a strict competition.
