RC Strasbourg manages squad changes amid major transfer activity

RC Strasbourg is actively managing its squad through significant transfer activity. The club is reportedly close to finalizing two major arrivals to compensate for recent departures. This includes a €7 million deal with Hamburg SV for Portuguese winger Fabio Baldé, who is expected to undergo a medical shortly. Additionally, Strasbourg has made a €5 million offer to Sturm Graz for Costa Rican defender Jeyland Mitchell, with personal terms already agreed upon.

These incoming transfers are being funded by substantial sales, including the departures of Julio Enciso and Abdoul Ouattara to Ipswich Town, which are expected to generate approximately €60 million. This revenue helps the club adhere to UEFA financial regulations.

Simultaneously, Strasbourg faces the potential loss of two key players to RB Leipzig. The German club has identified Samir El Mourabet and Diego Moreira as priority targets. While both players are reportedly interested in the move, Strasbourg holds significant leverage as El Mourabet is under contract until 2030 and Moreira until 2029.
