RCMP seize cocaine, guns, and cash in Alberta drug investigation

The RCMP has charged two men following a month-long investigation into drug trafficking across rural Alberta and parts of Saskatchewan. The operation involved search warrants executed at private residences in Cold Lake and Bonnyville on September 8.

During the searches, authorities seized approximately 650 grams of suspected cocaine, 60 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 75 ml of GHB, two loaded handguns, a shotgun, and approximately $39,000 in Canadian currency. The investigation targeted suspected traffickers active in Bonnyville, Cold Lake, the Elizabeth Metis Settlement, Cold Lake First Nations, and surrounding areas.
