REA and Dr. Boy showcase integrated marking for injection molded parts

REA Elektronik and Dr. Boy Spritzgießautomaten are presenting integrated solutions for the individual and permanent marking of injection-molded parts at Fakuma 2026. These developments address the increasing requirements for product traceability and the implementation of the Digital Product Pass (DPP).

One demonstration, the "Electric Barista," utilizes a BOY 50 Electric injection molding machine to produce cups from food-safe NAS30 material. The material is colored with a laser-sensitive masterbatch from AF-Color, allowing a REA LASER fiber laser to create sharp text and logos through a color change in the material.

A second project involves the production of a "spork" (a spoon-fork combination) using a BOY injection molding machine, which is then customized with individual markings via laser technology.
